Basil Release Notes (2026)

Due Date Tracker: Users can see an indicator in the People tab for Clients with Tasks approaching Due Dates.
Added Filters: Added more columns to be filterable in the People, Files, Signature, Invoice, and Timesheet tabs.
"Sticky" Filters: Using filters in several views (especially Task views) will retain their selection when navigating to other areas of Basil.
Report Builder New Fields: Expanded Project-related fields in the Report Builder.
Dollar Sign in Task Description: Users can now add the dollar sign character ($) to the Description field when adding or editing Tasks.
Chat Template Character Limit: Increased the character limit in Chat Templates to 2000 characters.
Chat Unread Filter: Users can now filter the Chat list by unread chats only.
