Basil: Account Owner Setup

Thank you for your interest in Basil! To set up your Basil account, follow the steps below:

  1. Visit our website (www.coraltreetech.com/basil) and click the green ‘SIGN UP’ button at the top right corner of the page. You may also click the button below. 
  2. On the next page (shown below), enter your name, email address, select your business type, and create a password, then click ‘Register’.
  3. Basil will send you an email with a verification code. Go to your email inbox to retrieve the code, then enter the code in the available text box (shown below).
  4. The page will refresh after you enter the verification code and prompt you to log in. Log in with the email and password you just created.
  5. Read and accept the Master Subscription Agreement. On the next screen enter your account information. The eSign PIN will be used when you are invited to securely sign a document. You will be asked to enter the PIN before accessing the document that needs to be signed.
  6. Your Basil account has now been created. The next screen will show the Basil Help Wizard and take you to your Basil Dashboard. The dashboard is what you’ll see first, every time you log in to the Basil website.
  7. You can now add Team Members, add Clients, set up 'My Firm' Workspaces, create/upload folders and files, initiate eSignatures, and create Projects in your Basil account.
