Basil: What is a Project in Basil?

This article is intended users under the Basil Advanced plan. Basil Simple users can refer to this article.

A Project is used to organize a process that consists of multiple related Tasks. Projects help you manage work by grouping Tasks together, assigning them to team members or client users, and tracking progress from start to finish.

Projects can also enforce a workflow by requiring Tasks to be completed in a specific order. If Workflow is enabled, each Task is created only after the previous Task has been completed.

You can also assign the Cora Assistant to automatically follow up with Task owners by email and text message until their assigned Tasks are completed.

Projects can be:
-Created and launched immediately.
-Saved as Project Templates for processes that you perform repeatedly.

Each Project can contain multiple Tasks, with each Task assigned to the same or different team members or client users. Task owners are expected to complete their assigned Tasks by the specified Due Date. A Project is considered complete once all of its Tasks have been completed.

Project templates allow you to standardize recurring workflows, making it easy to reuse the same set of Tasks whenever a similar process needs to be completed.
