Basil: How do I change my account tier?

 This article provides those details if you want to switch between the Basil Pay, Basil Simple, and Basil Advanced tiers, or want to upgrade from Basil Preview to a paid plan.


Upgrading from Basil Pay to Basil Simple

1. While logged in, please click your user icon on the top-right of Basil.
2. Click 'Upgrade'.
3. Click 'Switch'. This action cannot be undone; however you will then be able to switch between Basil Simple and Basil Advanced once upgraded.


Upgrading from Basil Simple to Basil Advanced

1. While logged in as the Account Owner, please click your user icon on the top-right of Basil.
2. Go to Settings > Tier settings.
3. Use the dropdown menu to select 'Basil Advanced'.


Switching from Basil Advanced to Basil Simple

1. While logged in as the Account Owner, please click your user icon on the top-right of Basil.
2. Go to Settings > Tier settings.
3. Use the dropdown menu to select 'Basil Simple'. You may get an alert instructing to delete items related to Advanced features, including any new Clients you have made.


Upgrading from Basil Preview to a paid plan

1. While logged in as the Account Owner, please click your user icon on the top-right of Basil.
2. Go to Settings > Tier settings.
3. Click 'Move to subscription plan'. This action cannot be undone, however you will then be able to switch between Basil Simple and Basil Advanced once upgraded.
