Can I use the same email address to set up my Qbox account on two computers?

You need to use a unique email address for each computer. To access files on an additional computer, share the Sync folders with another email address you use, and set up Qbox with that email.

One of the users has the file locked. Can I release the lock manually?

The file lock can be released manually by the account owner, a team member with admin permission, or by the user who locked the file. To release the file lock, log into your account at the Qbox website (www.qboxplus.com), locate the file and click on the ‘Lock’ icon to release the lock. Please note that when the lock is released manually, the file will not sync and changes made by the user who locked the file may get overwritten by a sync from another user.

Qbox flashes a warning message saying the Qbox folder cannot be accessed.

Qbox needs to access the Qbox folder periodically and will flash a warning message if it cannot be accessed. If your Qbox folder is on a network drive, it is possible that your local area network is not reliable and is causing Qbox to lose access intermittently. You can try moving the Qbox location to a local drive or a different network drive to resolve the issue.

To move your Qbox folder follow these instructions: On the Qbox Explorer, go to ‘Preferences’ and select ‘Move Qbox Location’. Qbox will prompt you to select the new location and then the Qbox Client will restart. Browse and select a new location, after which it will create the folders and sync the files to the selected location. Do not open any files until the move is completed. Qbox will display a confirmation message when the move is completed. Please note, the ‘Move Qbox Location’ button will be disabled if a file is locked by you or sync is in progress. Close the file to sync it in Qbox before moving the Qbox location.
