How to clear browser site data for Basil

You may on occasion encounter browser-related issues that can be resolved by clearing site data for Basil and CoralTree, such as issues logging in or not seeing the latest Basil release's features. You can use this guide on how to do that in Chrome and Edge without needing to fully clear your browsers cache and cookies.

 

 

Clearing Site Data in Google Chrome:

1. In Chrome's address bar, directly to the left of the basil.coraltreetech.com URL, click on the double sliders icon and click 'Cookies and site data'

2. Click 'Manage on-device site data'

3. Click the trash bin icon to the right of each of basil.coraltreetech.com and coraltreetech.com, then click 'Done'

4. Refresh or reload the web page and then log back into Basil again. You may sometimes need to log in twice before being taken to the Basil site

 

 

Clearing Site Data in Microsoft Edge:

1.  In Edge's address bar, directly to the left of the basil.coraltreetech.com URL, click on the lock icon and click 'Cookies and site data'

2. Click 'Cookies'

3. Click the row for https://basil.coraltreetech.com/ and click Remove. Repeat for the  https://coraltreetech.com/ row, then click 'Done'

4. Refresh the web page and then log back into Basil again. You may sometimes need to log in twice before being taken to the Basil site
