How is the Client Portal organized in Basil?

In Basil you can create your Clients, and their Workspaces separately. Clients can be of 3 types: Individual, Business Owner or Corporation. Each Client can have any number of Workspaces. Workspaces contain Folders and Documents of the Client and can be shared with your Team Members and Client users. Sharing Workspaces instead of individual folders allows you to organize and control the sharing of documents as well as Tasks, Projects, Calendar, Email, and Chat and avoid accidentally exposing a Client's financial data to unintended users. Basil's unique Workspace concept provides you with an additional level of security to protect mission-critical Client financial information.

The People Tab shows all your Clients and Team Members. You can click a Client to view the Client dashboard that provides all information relevant to the Client. The Files tab displays Client Workspaces. Clicking a Client shows all the Workspaces created for the Client, and clicking a Workspace shows the Client Documents (External) and Client Documents (Internal) folders. The External folder can be used to store documents that are ready to be shared with the Client. The Internal folder is used to store work-in-progress documents that are not ready to be shared with the clients.
