Can I lock a file from clients accessing it?
Yes, you can. If a file is in a Client Documents External folder, normally the client with access will be able to view or download that file from their Basil account.
However, you or Team Members with the 'Manage Client Locks' permissions can click the Actions button for any file and select 'Lock for Client'. Once locked, if the client tries to view or download that file, they will get a message 'The file is locked. Please contact Account Owner.' You can unlock the file again for clients by clicking the Actions button and clicking 'Unlock for Client'.
