Can I edit the name and email address of a client contact?

Yes. Basil users with ‘Manage Client Users’ or ‘Manage Client and Workspace’ permissions can edit the first name, last name, and email address of Primary Users and Client User, even after the client has created their account.
To do this, go to the People or Files tab and open the ‘My Clients’ sub-tab (or use the CRM view in the People tab). Locate the client contact, click the three-dot Actions menu, select Edit, make your changes, and click Update.
After the change is initiated, the client will receive a “Basil email has been changed” notification prompting them to reset their password.
Please note: Account Owners can make up to 40 client email address changes per month.
