Can I edit the name and email address of a client contact?
Yes, Basil users with 'Manage Client Users' or 'Manage Client and Workspace' permissions can edit the first name, last name, and email address of Primary Users and Client Users, even if they've already created their account.
You can do this by going to the People tab's or Files tab's 'My Clients' subtab or the CRM button within the People tab. Then locate the client's contact and click the three-dot Actions button and Edit. Make the necessary changes and click Update.
Once initated, the client's inbox will receive a 'Basil email has been changed' email for them to reset their password.
The maximum number of email changes allowed per account owner each month is 40.
